Safeguarding
Abbeymead Rovers FC is committed to providing enjoyable, affordable, safe and inclusive football for all. As an England Football 3 Star Accredited Club, we follow the safeguarding requirements set by The FA and the Gloucestershire Football Association. Everyone involved in the Club, including coaches, volunteers, players, parents and spectators, shares the responsibility for keeping our members safe.
Our coaches and volunteers
- Our qualified coaches have a minimum online FA Introduction to Football Coaching (Level 1).
- Our coaches have completed First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications and renew them regularly.
- We are an England Football 3 Star Accredited Club.

Sallie is also our Vice Chairman for Positive Behaviour. She was Highly Commended for Positive Behaviour at the 2025 Gloucestershire FA Awards.

- For any other concern, contact our Club Welfare Officer (details above).
- If you would rather speak to someone outside the Club, contact the Gloucestershire FA Safeguarding team or The FA's safeguarding team.
